Yellowknife Ukrainian Association
The Yellowknife Ukrainian Association has been an active member of the Yellowknife community since it's formation in the early 1980's.
It was formed by a group of Yellowknifers who wanted to share Ukrainian culture and traditions with Northern friends and family.
We are proud to host our annual Malanka Celebration each January, a cherished
Ukrainian New Year's tradition featuring lively entertainment, delicious food,
music, dancing, and fellowship.
Malanka is one of our signature events and a highlight of the year
for our members and the wider community.
The Association meets monthly from September through May.

The Ukrainian Association invites all members and those interested in our community to attend our upcoming meeting on
Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Baker Centre.
Join us as we discuss upcoming events, community initiatives and plans for the year ahead.
